Spelling
We fully understand the complex needs of a thoroughbred in work. We can tailor a spelling programme that suits your horse’s individual needs. Our lush pastures and quiet surrounds on the edge of the Hawkesbury river provide the optimum location for horses to spell. The spelling facilities include multiple paddocks at various sizes with quality improved pasture and ample space. Our dedicated team are constantly maintaining and improving our paddocks, to ensure the quality is sustainable. At LJ Thoroughbreds, we also have a selection of retired ponies, which make the best companions for energetic thoroughbreds and encouraging relaxation and grazing. Our focus on nutrition and health ensure the horses gain condition, whilst maintaining their athletic physic in a relaxed environment. |

Veterinary Aftercare
At athletes, at time require recuperation after an injury sustained in work. At LJ Thoroughbred we are focused on provided an environment which maximises the horse’s recovery and return to racing. Our rehabilitation barn allows for horses to relax without the interruption of horses in work. This prevents anxiousness and allows the horses to relax, our stables open up to small yards, which allows for a safe and relaxed increase in paddock size when required. We have a dedicated area for veterinary treatments and ensure a clean environment if horses require further diagnostics or treatments. With access to Laser, Shockwave and a Water Walker we tailor a program suited to you and your horse’s needs. |
